Miguel Nassif, Ph.D., is a senior structural geologist with extensive academic and global industry experience specializing in structural controls on mineralization, across scales, mineral commodities, and tectonic settings. His PhD from the Colorado School of Mines contributed to a better understanding of the formation and structural development of orogenic gold systems. His postdoctoral research focused on the evolution and controls of Au-Cu deposits in the Jiaodong gold province, China. Additionally, Dr. Nassif is an editorial manager and reviewer of the Journal of Structural Geology.
Experience Highlights
- District to deposit scale structural-metallogenic processes and targeting of precious and base metal deposits deposit including tectonically modified ore systems.
- Integration of field mapping, 3D modelling and structural-geochemical-geophysical-spectral datasets in support of target generation, geological-resource domaining and geotechnical assessment.
- Structural-magmatic framework of lithium-bearing pegmatite deposits.
